How do you stay encouraged when prayers appear to be unanswered?

How do you stay encouraged when prayers appear to be unanswered?? Lately the holy spirit has really reminded me about how Jesus taught us to pray. Not to drone on and on about what we want, but to give God glory, ask for forgiveness and the grace to forgive, and then to ask for our needs to be met. I guess its more of a matter trusting Him for what we need, and when we seek Him we want what He wants. It's all easier said than DONE isn't it? But that's FAITH.
